ABOUT YPCI

Youth Participatory Campaign Initiative

YPCI (Youth Participatory Campaign Initiative) is a UK-based global campaign platform dedicated to designing structured participation models for young people in response to urgent environmental and social issues.

Each year, YPCI identifies a major global challenge and transforms it into an international participatory framework. Rather than limiting its role to awareness-building, YPCI focuses on creating systems through which young people and emerging creators can actively engage, contribute, and take meaningful action.

At its core, YPCI addresses a structural gap:
People are aware of global problems, yet clear and accessible participation models are often missing.
YPCI builds those models.

What YPCI Does

YPCI operates through an annual campaign structure that includes:

  • Selection of a global environmental or social theme
  • Development of an international campaign framework
  • Design of structured youth participation models
  • Implementation of public-facing campaign formats
  • Documentation and long-term archiving

Each campaign follows a regenerative cycle:

Research → Creation → Public Action → Donation → Documentation

Through this cyclical structure, campaigns are not treated as one-time events but as cumulative contributions to a growing global archive and collaborative network.

Annual Global Roadmap

YPCI operates with a long-term thematic vision:

  • 2026: Rethink Fast Fashion
  • 2027: Rethink Digital Waste
  • 2028: Rethink Consumption

Each annual theme expands the geographic reach and depth of engagement, building an evolving global campaign ecosystem.

Strategic Collaboration with ACL

YPCI is an independent global campaign platform that collaborates strategically with Art Collective Lab (ACL).

Within this partnership:

  • YPCI develops the global campaign framework and international network structure.
  • ACL designs and implements the artistic direction, educational programming, public interventions, and project archiving.

This collaboration enables global issues to be translated into art-driven public action models that operate across physical and digital spaces.

Future Direction

Looking ahead, YPCI aims to:

  • Expand annual campaigns across multiple countries
  • Strengthen cross-border youth collaboration networks
  • Develop structured ESG partnership models
  • Build a comprehensive global digital archive
  • Integrate technology-driven participation infrastructure

YPCI is not merely a campaign organiser.
It is a participation system designed to position young people as active contributors to global discourse and public action.

Rethink. Act. Circulate.
